If you are from Australia, you are likely familiar enough with air travel. Australia hovers around in the group of countries with most flights per capita, mostly on account of the significant distances between the major population areas. This means that Australia has a well developed, safe, well-regulated and effective domestic air system. Whoever you fly with internally to the country is generally safe and efficient where paying more is generally for a more ‘premium’ service. The main four carriers are Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Regional Express.

Flying into Australia, we recommend flying into Melbourne directly if possible. If you are going to AstroEdu, then .. welcome! You are in Melbourne! But also Melbourne is the closest international airport – just over an hour away – to Hobart, where RTSRE is held. If you are going directly to Hobart, most international carriers will allow you to book all the way to Hobart. It is possible depending on where you are coming from that you may have to route through Sydney (which is the largest international airport), Perth (which is the first major city… and the only city for about 2600kms if you are coming from the West) or Brisbane (another international airport, although a bit distant from Melbourne or Hobart).
