STEM education for high school programs often involves lab experiments to demonstrate core concepts to help students learn and connect with the subject. Access to labs and lab equipment is often connected to the financial resources available by the school, leading to inequitable learning experiences for underfunded schools. The Baxter Box program helps connect teachers with resources to perform hands-on experiments at no cost. I show a developing astronomy project in which students can take data with a spectrometer to measure the temperature of the sun.
